Fourth of July...

Shalom, Khaverim! Hag Same'akh! (happy holiday) I'm sure you'll all have fireworks there. Last night we were comforted to learn that the sounds we hear each night aren't gunfire from the West Bank, but really fireworks which are part of Arab wedding celebrations each evening. So, while I won't see a colorful display and celebrate my Americanishness with all of you die-hard patriots, I will lie awake listening to the pops and booms thinking of you, longing to return to the Land of Milk and High-Fructose Corn-Syrup! Mmmmmm, Baruch HaShem!
